A revisit to Portobello Road in London. At the southern end of the road are the 'antique' shops and most of the tourists. As you go further north the quality of the goods decline to flea market, and then to random odds and ends. I used to work here with young people, mainly from the ethnic minority communities. The southern end is still very wealthy and the north not as poor as it used to be, but poorer than it deserves to be.
